At valentines grams about 15:30 we got picked up by my cousin Patrick and we headed up to his place in Novato, which is in Marin County, north of San Francisco. His place is in a beautiful location, sitting on a lake. We chilled at their place for a while, sipping Baileys until their son Liam dropped us off at their restaurant, Marinitas, in San Anselmo. I think Liam was wondering who the heel this long lost cousin from Ireland was and what the hell was he doing here. I guess that s pretty normal valentines grams at 16. We had dinner with Pat. We were treated like kings with Pat ordering valentines grams an array of dishes off the menu for us to sample. I particularly like the lamb and the duck. The restaurant valentines grams is Mexican themed so there were some tequila samplers thrown into the mix. I could have done without those! I hadn t seen Pat for about 20 years so it took a while to relax into things, but by the time we got back to his place and started drinking 120 dollar bottles of wine I was into the swing of things.
On the way home we stopped off at Pat s friend Billy s place. valentines grams They seemed to be in the wind down stages of a party. Billy s house was beautiful, again on the lake with a boat out back along with Jacuzzi and a big open fireplace. He invented Corkpops and repeatedly told us about his father who had invented the first industrial dish washer. It was like stepping into another world, something out of a movie, maybe lifestyles of the rich and dysfunctional.
Pat s wife Rachel came home from work at about 12am and we sat up until about 3am drinking wine and chatting about the old country. It was a lot of fun and Pat was able to fill me in on plenty of interesting stories about my parents.
