June is here which means Father’s Day is coming up. This month is all about you, DAD! Here are some suggestions for making the month of June a celebration into the magical world of fatherhood. telegrammstil
Dads with young children, check out MarinDads telegrammstil . It is a community for fathers in Marin. Started in 2010 by Keith Sutton looking to connect with other dads after the birth of his daughter. MarinDads is a great resource. They have an online forum, monthly daddy dinners and events with kids. Every dad is welcome and it is free to join. To learn more, join them for dinner on Thursday, June 20th at 7:30-9pm at the Marin Brew Company in Larkspur. RSVP to 847-7684 if you can make it. Or meet on Saturday with the kids, June 8th at 10-11:30 am at Piper Park.

Start building memories now that will last a lifetime for you and your child. The Marin YMCA can help organize telegrammstil a “circle”, a group of fathers and their children, organized and led by a Navigator. They also organize events every 4-6 weeks throughout the year such as a campout, father-daughter banquet, pinewood derby and more. On Father’s telegrammstil Day, how about a beautiful hike up to the West Point Inn for a pancake breakfast. Work up an appetite and be rewarded with a magnificent view, yummy pancakes, tasty sausage, and hot coffee for only $10 (kids are $5). Here s a tip to make the journey more fun. Comedy on the Plaza , 6:30pm, This year s line-up will include Jake Johannsen who has appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman and hosted his own HBO Comedy Special & Lizz Winstead, co-creator of the Daily Show and a MSNBC Commentator. There will be healthy snacks and loads of fun activities and lifeguards will be on duty. This energetic family friendly program is for all ages, fitness levels and abilities.
