Feriz Kareem (Llovca) belongs to the group of Shefqet Musliu, a former commander of the Liberation Army of Presevo, Bujanovac and Bujanovac (OVPMB), an Albanian paramilitary formation which fought for more rights for the community in the Republic of Serbia.

Gjilan District Court on 05.10.2010, in the judgment of first instance reiterated he has spoken unified sentences of defendants, Shefqet Musliu and Besim Tahiri, kidnapping offenses under article 64, paragraphs 1, 2 and 4 of LPS and attempted extortion under Article 180 of the CCS. The accused Musliu was sentenced to imprisonment of 10 years and 6 months, while Tahiri defendant was sentenced to imprisonment of six years and nine months.
Humanitarian Law Fund Kosovo is of the opinion that this judgment is fair and based on law. And the punishment is appropriate to the severity of crimes committed. Such a decision would impact positively discourage potential perpetrators of criminal acts the same, while, on the other hand, offers moral compensation to victims.
The accused was sentenced Musliu because of kidnapping witness who happened CA on 8.09.2001 in Novo Selo / Novo Selo, [Viti / Vitina], which has performed with other unknown playback theater perpetrators. The defendant ordered AK witness, who at that moment was in his car, to convey to a garage. When they arrived, the accused playback theater within close witness and physically mistreated for half an hour to force him to give him information about his detention order for [the accused Musliu]. Also, the defendant was convicted Musliu due to witness first obligation, which was conducted by 24.04.2002 in Gjilan / Gnjilane, where the accused Musliu stopped the car in which it stood witness 1 and, holding something in his hand that looked like a firearm demanded money from the witness. And in the end because he was convicted of kidnapping witnesses 3 and 4, which was conducted in September 2000 in the village Dobërqan / Doberčane, in conjunction with the accused Besim Tahiri, where these two witnesses kept closed for some days.
The trial of the accused began with an indictment, on 09.12.2003, against Shefqet Musliu, Besim Tahiri, Jeton Arifi and Feriz Qerimi. On 18.12.2003, the indictment was raised against Cevdet Musliu. With precise indictment dated 21.01.2004, the accused put the burden Musliu playback theater witnesses the kidnapping of 3, 4, and FY CA, attempted coercion, illegal weapons possession and criminal organization; accused Besim Tahiri witnesses participating in the kidnapping of 3, 4 and FY, and illegal possession of firearms; Jeton Arifi accused of participating in the kidnapping witnesses 3 and 4, as well as a criminal organization; Feriz accused Qerimi hijacking witness playback theater FY, weapons possession and criminal organization; and finally the accused Musliu Cevdet kidnapping and causing general danger.
