February, birthday sing upside down! | OurLifeinBH
In Italy in February is a month with invernale..forse January ... is one of the coldest month of the winter holidays (for some!), birthday sing Is the month of the Carnival (the kids are home from school a few days), is the month of Valentine's Day (which is also the birthday of my husband!) and it is also perhaps the last cold month before they start to get the swallows that bring the spring!
In Brazil ... is obviously just the opposite! Here we are on the other side of the equator ... we are "upside down" as I thought as a child. Here we are in the middle of summer and you know this. But there are other peculiarities: yesterday, birthday sing for example, the first working day of February, started again officially schools !! After the Christmas holidays and the month of January, the children and young Brazilians have started a new school year! In short, it is as if it were finished our August and everything gradually resumed. Until last week, the traffic was much less supported, since yesterday however the pace has returned to the normal one. It 'still a very hot month, but from March and then in April, birthday sing temperatures will again be cooler. Little by little, the days begin to get shorter and also with the time change in March, we'll also have a 5 hour difference from Italy (from November to March are only 3). You know another curiosity? Valentine's Day in Brazil does not exist, or rather is celebrated in June. Valentine's Day, "or do dias namorados" is in fact celebrated on June 12th. Why? Because the next day, June 13, we celebrate St. Anthony, the saint propitiatory marriages. For last thing, even here in February is almost always the month of Carnival, as we have said for the 'Italy! It seems that in Brazil this event blocks the country for days between parades and festivities. I'll tell you later how it will live it!
In February, in Italy, there is the "Candlemas" from winter we would be, but if it's raining and windy, from winter we are inside. The Candlemas was February 2 ...... ..direi unnecessary conclusions. And of course, as you've already told you, on February 14 more than Valentine's Day, is the birthday of "my favorite child." But I was born "or do dias namorados" ............ ..brasiliano though .... Brava, as always. A big basin
